Contemporary artist Rod Martin was born and raised in California. He was drawn to artistic activities; classical music at a young age, and later becoming a professor of martial arts. He then evolved into a successful business owner and inventor of products with world-wide acceptance.
His unique style of art, both painting and sculpture, emerged from this inventive spirit. His vivid imagination constantly fuels his passion for creating unique abstract pieces, often in a series. He uses a variety of techniques to layer acrylic paint on canvas to capture these expressions. His abstract-figurative sculptures are stimulated by the characters found in his paintings.
